Former bandmate and good friend Drew R. sent me a late-night text that he needed some fliers made ASAP. I jumped into Photoshop and started going to work.
AUDIENCE:
Dark Satellites and Mars Lights are two bands from Kansas with Drew as the lead guitar player. Concertgoers and other musicians are the primary demographic for this project.
MISSION:
My main goals were simplicity, readability, and texture. While I wanted a striking flyer that could draw the reader into the band names, I also wanted to make the main focus of this design be the typography and to let the two designs work together, as the two shows are only a week apart.
