Pacific Dunes No. 11
I got a 3 photos in a Boston Globe article about BDGR!
Check it out here.
Golf.com used some of the BDGR footage that Nick Martin and I shot in the recent Gold piece. I would guess that 60-75% of the b-roll is from our archives including some of our best drone work! How cool is that!?!
PROJECT:
Former band-mate and good friend Drew R. sent me a late night text that he needed some fliers made ASAP. I jumped into Photoshop and started going to work.
AUDIENCE:
Dark Satellites and Mars Lights are two bands from Kansas with Drew as the lead guitar player. Concert goers and other musicians are the main demographic for this project.
MISSION:
My main goals were simplicity, readability and texture. While I wanted a striking flyer that can draw the reader into the band names, I also wanted to make the main focus of this design to be the typography and to let the two designs work together as the two shows are only a week apart.
PROJECT:
United Airlines teamed up with BDGR to create a flight to help golfers from the east coast get to Oregon quicker!
AUDIENCE:
Golfers, locals and regional/national parters.
MISSION:
I was tasked with the help of the BDGR marketing team to design the creative that would be used in the DEN to OTH campaign.
ICYMI: Do you still need to book flights for your Bandon trip? Don’t delay, the 1st flight from Denver to North Bend…

PROJECT:
BDGR hosted the Inaugural U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship. Our team was chosen to lead the program design and I was lucky enough to get the chance to be lead designer. I have to give special thanks to Alexia G., Jeff S. and Mike C. of the BDGR team and Tim C. at MillerBrown for providing his time and many years of expertise to make sure this program looked as good as possible.
AUDIENCE:
Golf lovers attending the event, families and friends of players and the BDGR staff.
MISSION:
Our mission was to provide a handy guide to get around the resort, communicate the schedule, show off the stunning Pacific Dunes golf course, and follow along as the competitors play each hole with our handy yardage guide.
Some of my photos of Director of Instruction at BDGR, Grant Rogers, were featured in an Ashworth piece. Check out the full piece here!
PROJECT:
I grew too much oregano! So I dried it, branded it, jarred it and then passed out to friends and family.
AUDIENCE:
Friends, family, and every once-in-a-while, when a leaf falls on the ground, the dog tries to eat it. 🙂
MISSION:
My main goal is to show how much fun it can be to grow organic right in your back yard! Perhaps a ‘strawberries by tim’ post coming later this year?
Here is the oregano right before the drying process:
Here are some designs that didn’t make the cut:
PROJECT:
Wild Rivers Coast Alliance, a philanthropic arm of Bandon Dunes, needed a website re-design and video featuring coastal views.
AUDIENCE:
Golfers, locals and regional/national parters.
MISSION:
Matching the WRCA website with the Bandon Dunes website while still providing content to be featured in a WRCA way. This new website features grantees, shows past numbers, features annual reports, the new Wild Rivers Center and more!
PROJECT: KemperSports is giving away an Ultimate Buddies Trip to Bandon Dunes. I was asked to submit a couple of my favorite images to help the contest/campaign to get golf players to sign up for KemperClub.
AUDIENCE: Golfers excited about a free trip to Bandon Dunes and that want to sign up for notifications from KemperClub.
MISSION: Choose stunning photography to inspire people to sign-up for KemperClub and enter the Ultimate Buddies Trip contest to Bandon Dunes!
